Fort Peck Lake

Fort Peck isn't to far from where I live and it is a beautiful lake. The dam is the 5th largest man made dam. They began building it in 1933 and finished it in 1940. This lake has more shore line than the state of California its shoreline is 1,520 miles. The lake itself is 134 miles long. Words cannot describe how beautiful this lake is. You have to see it and take in its beauty with your very own eyes. The only pictures I have are from last winter but if you google it you can find many beautiful pictures.

Lift Bridge and Cartwright Tunnel

It's been a while since I have posted anything because so many other things have come up but I am here to update my blog. There are a few things close to where I live that are amazing and one thing is the lift bridge and Cartwright Tunnel in Fairview North Dakota. This bridge and tunnel are magnificent and to imagine that the rivers were wide enough for these ships to come up river is just so amazing. Utah

So this last week I visited a place in Mona, Utah called Young Living Farms. This farm has many different types of animals and the also grow lavender which they make many different oils from. They also have little western towns set up and a castle where they do Jousting during their lavender days. This family also has 2 farms in Idaho, one in Oman, One in Ecuador, and one in France. This farm in Utah as the largest herb distillery in the world. It has 1,400 acres for fresh herbs that you and enjoy visually and the smells are fantastic. Check out their website Young Living Farms.
