The Monterey Bay Aquarium is located in central California right on the coast. This is one of my all time favorite aquariums. It is right on the shores of the pacific ocean. It is hours of entertainment. I saw so many sea creatures that I didn't even know existed. While touring this aquarium I thought to myself how nice it would be to be a teacher in Monterey because of this aquarium. They have so many hands on experiences for kids from stuffed animals to technology to actually interacting with sea creatures. Not only does this aquarium offer that but they also offer sleep overs in the aquarium where the students can pick their favorite tank and they can sleep there. One thing I truly enjoyed was the fact that I could go out onto the huge deck they had that over looked the ocean and you can watch and enjoy the sea life out in the Pacific Ocean. This is one attraction that I could come back to year after year.

Space Needle
This week I got to enjoy the lovely sight of the Space Needle. I have had been to Washington many times as a kid but I never got to go see the Space Needle. This time I told my mom rain or sunshine we are going. It was the most spectacular thing I have seen. It is so well kept and looks amazing near and far. The Space Needle is a landmark in Seattle, Washington that was built in 1962. It stands 605 feet high, 138 feet wide, and it weighs 9,550 tons. When the Space Needle was built they wanted to make it strong enough to withstand high winds, large earthquakes, and they put several lightening rods on it. There is an observation deck that you can buy tickets for that is 520 feet off the ground and gives a spectacular view of Seattle. The elevator itself is a ride to the top it travels 10 MPH and can get you to the observation deck in 41 seconds. It is a wonderful sight to see and I recommend it to everyone. Here are some pictures from my adventure.

Glacier National Park
Well here is my first post about my journey. The first stop on my road trip is Glacier National Park. I have lived in Montana for 21 years and I have never made it up north to visit this amazingly beautiful park. The park has 1 millions acres of land that has two mountain ranges that run through it, 130 named lakes, over 1,000 species of plants, and hundreds of different species of animals. The park was established in 1910. With that being said I am excited to visit this park. Currently the only picture I have is off of the Internet so stay tune for pictures.
